1. Lock It Down – Security Comes First
- Always lock doors, windows, and storage compartments before leaving.
- Remove valuables like GPS devices, tools, and electronics to deter theft.
- Consider extra security measures such as a wheel lock, steering lock, or GPS tracker for added peace of mind.
2. Shield It from the Elements
- Use a breathable, weather-resistant cover—plastic tarps trap moisture and can lead to mold or rust.
- Keep tires properly inflated, as temperature changes can cause pressure fluctuations.
